Administrative Preparations
Before any physical work could begin on the Slat Lkahal Synagogue, ASL Mogador undertook a thorough administrative preparation process. This involved securing the necessary authorizations from relevant authorities to ensure that all restoration activities comply with local regulations governing heritage sites within the Medina of Essaouira.

Site Permissions
All construction-site permits were obtained prior to the commencement of the preliminary phase, allowing work to proceed on the roof of the prayer hall during 2011–2012 and on the main facade during 2013–2014.
Heritage Compliance
The restoration plan respects the regulatory framework for protected heritage sites within the Medina. Every intervention is designed to preserve the architectural integrity and historical character of the synagogue.
